Stored on your device
Dreams and reflections
Dream titles, written entries, moods, lucidity details, and transcripts are stored in the app on your device.
Voice recordings and transcription
Recordings stay on your device. Transcription runs on-device after the speech model is downloaded; your audio is not uploaded for transcription.
Alarms and preferences
Reminders, soundscape favorites, notification choices, and app settings are stored locally.
Data used to run and improve the app
Limited data is sent to service providers when you use the features below. It is separate from your journal unless you intentionally include personal details in feedback.
Access codes — Cloudflare and RevenueCat
When you redeem an access code, Cloudflare processes the code, your anonymous RevenueCat customer identifier, and network metadata to validate the request and limit attempts. RevenueCat stores the resulting complimentary access grant. Codes and request bodies are not logged by our access service; your journal entries and recordings are not sent.
Optional usage analytics — Firebase
When enabled, Firebase receives sanitized screen names, feature interactions, app and platform details, and coarse ranges such as duration or counts. Dream titles, journal text, transcripts, and recordings are not included.
Feedback you send — Email
Send feedback opens your email app with feedback@dreamba.app as the recipient. If you send an email, we receive your email address, message, and any attachments you choose to include. The app does not automatically attach journal entries, recordings, or diagnostic details.
Subscriptions — RevenueCat and app stores
RevenueCat and Apple or Google process anonymous subscription identifiers, product and transaction information, technical details, and entitlement status. They do not receive your journal content; payment details stay with the app store.
Our privacy practices
No journal cloud copy
We do not operate a cloud backup or sync service for your journal. Your operating system may still include app data in device backups, depending on your backup settings.
No dream content in analytics
Dream titles, journal text, transcripts, and audio are excluded from analytics and subscription events.
No ads or data sales
The app does not show ads, and we do not sell your personal information or dream content.
Your analytics choice
You can turn optional app usage analytics on or off in Settings → Privacy. Dream entries, recordings, and transcripts are not included in these events.
This website
Cloudflare hosts dreamba.app and delivers its pages. In doing so, Cloudflare processes technical information such as your IP address, browser information, and the pages you request to deliver and protect the website.
We haven’t added advertising, visitor analytics, tracking scripts, or a signup form to this website. Its images and fonts are served from our own domain.
Contact links open your email application. If you send a message, we receive the email address, message, and attachments you choose to send. Learn more in Cloudflare’s privacy policy.
